zslic technologies (pty) ltd was born from a need to take the 'zslic smart business server' technology to the mass market. zslic, per se is not a new technology, in fact it has been around since 1997, and developed over the years to the product that is today a serious competitor to the 'alternate' software market.
zslic, like many open source success stories, is a collaborative effort between two companies, zsd and universe group. after installing around 250 servers in southern africa, seychelles and parts of northern africa, the two founding companies formed a third entity, zslic technologies (pty) ltd, who's focus is to take the zslic technology to the mass market via the dealer channel.
our model keeps business simple, allowing the client to recoup huge savings when comparing to similar legacy solutions, while providing a profit base for ourselves as well as the dealer that sells our equipment.
zslic technologies was established in 2007, in cape town, south Africa; and is growing it's client base daily, through the efforts of our dealers who have seen the business and value add benefits of selling our solutions to their clients.
zslic technologies embraces the open source philosophies, of using free software to build solutions that add value to the client, then generating it's revenue from the value added services, not the licensing fees, in the software.
zslic technlogies now has also launched a new mobile division, bringing specialist mobile phones to markets that previously were not addressed.
